POTW - Robin Hood King of Thieves

A while ago, we posted  POTW of The Oldest Pub in the UK, the inn which is situated next to Nottingham Castle, made famous by the legendary Robin Hood King of Thieves. 

The beautiful Nottingham Castle is a pinpoint for tourists worldwide when visiting Nottingham. I had the great privilege of living and studying in Nottingham for 4 years while at university. 

The eerie Robin Hood statue who stands guard outside the castle is a constant reminder of Nottinghams amazing tradition and heritage. 

As well as this, not so far away we have Sherwood Forest, the beautiful backdrop to many of Robin Hoods adventures.
