Best Weekend Breaks with Friends

Thinking of a weekend break with loved ones or a couple of mates? Here are a couple of the top quick get-away destinations around Europe.

Cornwall

Cornwall has a lot to offer for such a rural part of England – whether you visit Lands End right down South, or stay up North in areas such as Launceston. Of course Cornwall also has its party towns in the form of Newquay, and plenty of places for people into surfing and diving. For a British town it also has its fair share of Dolphins and Basking Sharks. Activities like Clay Pigeon Shooting are also readily available and great fun to take part in. Just take my advice and don’t drive back through country lanes at 1am – those picturesque villages and hills suddenly feel like something out of a Stephen King novel.

Disneyland Paris

I truly believe it is impossible to outgrow Disneyland. I defy anyone to walk down Main Street and hate it. I dare you. The park always has special offers on for either students or children or family discounts so discounts can be found anywhere online. Whether you want to stay in the park or outside and flit between their and Paris is up to you – just make sure you have an autograph book handy at all times.

Berlin

Doesn’t sound like a typical weekend away but Berlin is actually very chic. With the population in the city deemed very Hipster; it is abundant withpugs, photo booths, and Fixie bikes. The Berlin wall is of course a main attraction, and in this day it is covered with incredible graffiti and art work that has culminated over the years. Of course no indie city would be complete without underground clubs and pubs that serve cheap booze well into the night. And for those of you who have never before had the pleasure of experiencing German Beer, good luck.
