Malta is a country located in southern Europe close to Siciliy, Gibraltar and Tunisia. Although it is one of the smallest countries in the world, it is famed for its densely populated cities; the biggest of which being Birkirkara.

Following up on the recent blog post I wrote regarding smaller festivals I decided to go to the Friday of Hard Rock Calling in London’s Hyde park.
Over the last 10 years festivals around the world have been on the increase and with the likes of Benicassim and Sonisphere ever growing in Europe it looks like the festival trend is here to stay!
The problem I have with this is the more popular the festivals become the more the prices sky rocket, and it’s really starting to become a struggle to afford to go.
